Q. What is gotU Roadside Assistance and how does it work?

A. gotU is a pay as you go roadside assistance service with no joining fees, and no annual membership fees. gotU uses an app to identify your location and get roadside assistance to you quickly. For more info and to request help, check out our How it works page.


Q. Where can I download the gotU app?

A. gotU is available to download from the App Store or Google Play. App Store and the Apple logo are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google Inc.

Q. How much does gotU cost?

A. It depends on the service you need. Check out the Pricing and Services pages for more information.


Q. How do I make a payment?

A. You link a payment source to your account when you sign up via the gotU app. You’re never charged anything until you use the service.

Q. How do I know what roadside assistance service to choose?

A. Sometimes this is pretty obvious. If you’ve locked your keys in the car or have a flat tyre, you generally know. However, if your car won’t start then it might be difficult to know if you need a jump start, more fuel or a tow.

If you’re unsure, select the option you think is most likely to be the problem. A provider will contact you to discuss your request and may be able to identify the service you need on the phone. If not, then they should be able to help when they arrive in person.
